MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL BANKS
Greetings Lindblom MSA Eagles,
I’m really excited about the start of this school year and our ongoing collaborative work of shaping our school culture through collective responsibility and shared ownership. Swoop, swoop!
Our primary focus this year is making sure that every student, especially our EL population, is challenged, supported and engaged. We are focused on setting clear learning targets and designing assignments and assessments that push students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and demonstrate mastery.
We are already putting this mindset into practice. Recently, Mr. Sidarous, Kyleigh Jones (SW27P), Jonathan Watkins (SW27P/SW31P), and I participated in the Across Generations Retreat for Vocal Justice Fellows. We are one of five teams across the country collaborating on a project to more authentically integrate student voice, youth empowerment, and social justice education into our school. Our project is focused on connecting student voice groups and refining Colloquium day offerings and spaces based on direct input from students and staff. As a matter of fact, we are asking all students to let us know what they would like to learn or experience on Colloquium Day via this brief survey.
I’m confident in our shared commitment to grow, reflect, and continuously improve.
Together we strive for excellence!
Swoop, swoop!

Registration Forms for After School Programming
This school year we will have free before and after school programming provided by both the Union League Boys and Girls Club and Envision Community Services. We are still finalizing the details of the programming, but we invite you to complete the registration forms for both ULBGC and ECS so that your student is able to participate in the programming. Students will not be able to attend the programming until the registration forms are complete. Both programs are grant-funded and ask a series of questions required for their grant reporting.
Please complete both registration forms below and let us know if you have any questions. Sign-ups for the specific programs will be available soon!

Student Spotlight
We’re excited to welcome back and celebrate our students who participated in CIEE Global Navigator programs this summer! From exploring new countries and cultures to building friendships and gaining unforgettable experiences, our students truly became global citizens. 🌎❤️
We are so proud of each of you for stepping outside your comfort zone, representing our school, and bringing your experiences back to our community.
Welcome home, world travelers!
Camden Comer (SW28P) had a wonderful experience in the CIEE Study Abroad program, and spent 3.5 weeks in Tokyo, Japan. He was immersed in Japanese Language & Culture, as well as Anime and Technology classes daily.
