The March Madness Competition continues! This past week, we had two first period classes finish the week with perfect attendance! These groups of students will receive an early lunch pass to skip the line and enjoy some extra free time as a reward for their excellent attendance.

The grade level with the highest attendance for this past week will get to cover a staff member in silly string - the students voted for it to be Ms. Rockwell!

All students with perfect attendance for last week will be entered in a raffle to win prizes such as gift cards, skip lunch line pass and more.

We hope you will help us with reinforcing the importance of regular school attendance. March Madness is on!

The cities of Fairfield and Suisun City are two of the most diverse communities in California. To honor that diversity, each week FSUSD will be sharing information about the cultures that make up our extra special learning community.

March 14, 2025 is Hola Mohalla, a Sikh festival featuring martial arts, poetry, and community gatherings. The festival of Hola Mohalla was established by the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, in the late 17th century. It was intended to be a day for Sikhs to demonstrate their military skills in mock battles and exercises, as well as to foster a sense of unity and camaraderie among the community.

Any middle school student attending an FSUSD high school game must be accompanied by an adult.

Students attending home games at BGW must have their school ID and must pay 20 PBIS points to attend. Only students from BGW and from the opposing team will be able to enter games. Space is limited.

Teams will be picked by Friday, March 15th. The same schedule will be for practices the following week. Ms. Brucia will be meeting with students this week to clear students for tryouts on Tuesday after school.

Students interested in playing soccer MUST have a physical done by a medical doctor and MUST have a page created and completed on Homecampus.com. Students MUST also have 2.0 with no more than 2 F grades. Soccer tryouts begin in March and students cannot try out unless all the requirements are completed.
