e-Funds & Funding Lunch Accounts
We are asking that all outstanding lunch balances be paid promptly to support our programs' finances. Funding lunch accounts can be paid through e~Funds:
Here are a few helpful hints to get started:
You will need your child's lunch/student ID number to make a payment.
You can still make payments at the main office during registration days, or at any lunch room cashier but setting up an account and paying in advance will save time and give you an opportunity to see a breakdown of your fees in advance.

How to Check your Student lunch account transactions
You can still make payments directly to a Food Service Cashier at any school cafeteria with cash or check, but setting up an account and paying in advance will save time and give you an opportunity to see a breakdown of your lunch activity in advance. I would like to encourage parents and caregivers to have conversations with your student/s regarding you and your families lunch and a la carte participation. As a school requirement we can not deny a student taking a hot lunch, note that any hot lunch taken by your student/s will be charged to their account.
Aspen Supplemental Program
The Aspen School District Nutrition Services Department is a district funded program not part of the State or Federal lunch programs.
FREE & REDUCED BREAKFAST & LUNCH
We know that many families rely on schools for meals. We encourage families to submit a Free & Reduced Meal application, which provides families with access to additional benefits as well. Please know that even if you qualified in previous years, an application must be submitted every school year. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY OCTOBER 1st with proof of income. To access the application and instructions for English and Spanish click the following link (https://app.droplet.io/form/Nwdd2K)

Outdoor Education Meals
⛺Information for Students & Parents: Outdoor Education Meals⛺
As your child prepares for their outdoor education experience, we know you have questions about what they'll be eating. We're committed to providing delicious, nutritious, and safe meals that fuel their learning and adventure.
Here’s what you need to know about our outdoor education food and menu:
Focus on Fueling Adventure
Our menus are specifically designed to provide the energy and nutrients students need for a full day of outdoor activities, including hiking, team-building, and exploration. Meals are hearty, well-balanced, and made with ingredients that are easy to pack and cook in an outdoor setting.
Sample Menu
To give you an idea of what your child will be eating, here is a sample of our menu:
Breakfast: Hot breakfasts like pancakes, scrambled eggs, and oatmeal with fruit and sausage are often served.
Lunch: Lunches are typically "build-your-own" style, like sandwiches (turkey, ham, and cheese), peanut butter and jelly, or wraps. We also pack trail-friendly options and healthy snacks to keep them going throughout the day.
Dinner: Dinners are a highlight of the outdoor experience! Prepared by students and are perfect for a cool evening.
Snacks: We provide a variety of snacks throughout the day, including fresh fruit, granola bars, and other healthy options to keep energy levels high.
Please note: This is a sample menu and is subject to change based on the specific outdoor education program and availability.
Dietary Needs and Allergies
We take food allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously.
Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions well in advance. This includes vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.
We make every effort to prevent cross-contamination and our staff will work directly with your child to ensure their meals are safe and delicious.
Encouraging Healthy Habits
Our outdoor education program is a great opportunity for students to learn about nutrition and develop a new appreciation for food in the outdoor setting. Meals are a time for community, and students will be encouraged to try new foods, help with clean-up, and practice good table manners in a unique setting.
