Chatham County Drill Meet
On April 12th, all JROTC units of Chatham County attended the annual Chatham County Drill Meet, hosted by Windsor Forest High. Our motivated Warrior cadets placed first in Color Guard and the Cadet Challenge (push-ups, curl-ups, and one-mile run), while placing third in marksmanship and basketball. Overall, our Warrior cadets placed 2nd in the whole county, and we are poised for a 1st place finish in 2026!
National Art Honor Society visited the Jepson Center and SCAD Museum of Art
Students from the National Art Honor Society visited the Jepson Center and SCAD Museum of Art yesterday. I highly encourage you all to visit. The Jepson had a historic exhibit about Venice and the Ottoman Empire, and SCAD MOA had a few exhibits by currently working artists that explored their cultural and personal identity. We saw quite a range of art. Here are a few photos I took of our students. PS - Did you know that the Jepson has Free Family Days during the opening of new exhibits, and SCAD MOA is free for Chatham County residents on the 2nd Sunday of each month? Go see art!
