Dear PES families and community members,
As we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday, we are often reminded to take a pause and remind ourselves of all we are grateful for. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the caring and supportive community we have at PES. I am so proud of the work our staff and students do each day. As parents/guardians, your involvement and encouragement make a significant difference in the lives of our students and contribute to the positive learning environment we strive to provide for all of our students. Thank you for your continued support at home.
Next week, I hope you find time to slow down and make special memories with those nearest and dearest to you. Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with joy and gratitude.

PES Gives Thanks Lunch 🍴
Thank you to the many family and community members that joined us for our annual Thanksgiving Lunch. This is a tradition that has continued for many years in Phippsburg, and one that we delight in holding each year. A very special thank you goes out to: Ms. Anna, Ms.Faye, and Ms. Nichole, for cooking our special meal. Mr. Nick and the RSU 1 custodial staff for setup, breakdown and support. Tina Caron for setup, support, and decorations, and to our special guest servers, Erick Halpin, Dan Couture, Katie Joseph, Maureen Craney, and Debra Clark.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Just a reminder that our conferences will be held next Monday, from 12:20-6:00. If you have not connected with your child’s teacher to set up a conference, please do so. We hope to see you at conferences. If the date and time does not work for you, please reach out to our staff.
PES Newspaper Club
Don’t forget to check out the Explorer’s Echo written by our newspaper club! The students and Ms.Burch did a wonderful job putting together an informative, helpful and entertaining first edition.
Warm Regards,
Nina Willette
