We are proud to recognize our AP students who scored a 3 or higher on their respective AP exams last spring!

Earning a qualifying score on an AP exam is a significant accomplishment and demonstrates college-level achievement. While many colleges award credit for a score of 3, some may require a 4 or 5, especially at more competitive institutions. Regardless, these results reflect the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.

Fall Count Day Fall Count Day

Fall Count Day is Wednesday, October 1st. This day accounts for 90% of the state funding our district will receive for the 2025-2026 school year.

Count Day is when all public schools in Michigan tally the number of students attending. This information is critical because each student translates directly into state funding, which pays for teacher salaries and benefits. On average, it costs the district approximately $100,000 per teacher.

For 2025-2026, the per-pupil allowance has not yet been finalized. Current proposals range from $10,000 per student to a significant increase of $12,000 per student (up from $9,608 in 2023-2025).
