A Note from the Principal
Dear FMS Families,
As we wrap up another incredible school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership, support, and trust. It takes all of us—students, families, and staff—working together to create a positive learning environment, and I am grateful for the role you play in your child's success.
This year was filled with many accomplishments and reasons to celebrate. One of the things we are most proud of is that 100% of our students were connected to an athletic, activity, and/or leadership opportunity during the school year. Whether through sports, music, clubs, student leadership, or other activities, every student had the opportunity to belong, contribute, and grow outside the classroom.
We are also proud that 90% of our students reported having a trusted adult at school. Strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and we know students thrive when they feel connected, supported, and valued.
Academically, our students demonstrated tremendous growth. This year, 91% of students were proficient and/or showed growth in math and reading based on MAP testing scores. These results reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the support provided by families throughout the year.
Beyond the numbers, we watched students grow as leaders, teammates, performers, problem-solvers, and young adults. We saw students take on new challenges, improve their grades, build friendships, develop confidence, and contribute positively to our school community. The growth we have witnessed this year extends far beyond the classroom.
Thank you again for helping make this school year such a success. We wish all of our students and families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in August for another great year at Fairfield Middle School.
Go Trojans!
