Patriot Nation,

Thank you for a great week 2 at Jack! We are completing BOY assessments, continuing to work on our expectations, and developing mission statements across the campus. We have some important events on the horizon heading into September. Our Watch DOGS program kicks off soon and our annual Patriot Day Ceremony is just around the corner. Next week we begin the East Texas Food Bank 32nd Annual Pantry Raid. Information on all of these events can be found below. Thank you for all of the support and feedback and we look forward to serving you!

- Please drop off by 7:50. Our tardy bell rings at that time and we want our Patriots ready to learn with us.

- We cannot release kids after 2:45 due to dismissal procedures. If you have appointments, please make arrangements to pick up by this time.

- If you are dropping off before 7:15, please use the back loop. This area is staffed and students are directed to the cafe or gym. After 7:15, our front loop will be open.

Our feeder high school, Tyler Legacy will be having a homecoming parade at Legacy on September 6th at 6:30. They would love our support as feeder campus. We hope you can make it!

Our first Watch DOGS meeting will be at Jack on September 8th at 6pm. We will have pizza and talk about this new program at Jack. Please RSVP by September 2nd so we can order enough pizza. Did you know that our 7 Habits have hand motions? Please view the video above for some fun and join in with your Patriot at home to practice! We will send out more videos soon of other grade levels modeling this for our families!

Below you will find the link to our handbook for our families. This will also be posted on our website. Please keep in mind that this handbook is a general guideline for our campus, and we also follow the TISD handbook for district guidelines.

You can also follow us on Facebook, as we post updates frequently and weekly newsletters. Please encourage family members to join, as it is a great way to connect to the learning inside our building from afar!
