We look forward to seeing you at Parent-Teacher Conferences!
School-Wide Reminders
CHROMEBOOKS
Here are a few friendly reminders to help keep student devices working smoothly:
- Bring Devices Daily → Students should bring their fully charged Chromebook and charger to school every day.
- Academic Use Only → Chromebooks and WSD student accounts are reserved strictly for schoolwork and educational purposes.
- Chromelab Repairs → If a device is damaged or broken, students can bring it to the Chromelab in Room 221 before school, after school, or during 2nd hour, 4th hour, Den Time, or 6th hour.
PHONES & PERSONAL ELECTRONICS
Per state law and school policy, all student cell phones, headphones, and personal electronic devices must remain turned off and stored in backpacks from 7:20 a.m. to 2:20 p.m. The only exception is in classrooms where teachers require phones to be stored in a designated phone caddy.
SENIOR JOSTENS MEETING
Attention Senior Families! Jostens will hold a senior meeting on Wednesday, October 28, during Pack Time to discuss graduation details, cap and gown orders, and other important senior materials. If your student does not have a scheduled Pack Time, families can pick up an informational packet in the Timberland main office.
Counseling Office Updates
FAFSA FRENZY
High school seniors planning to attend college, trade school, or vocational programs next fall can now complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov. Filing early gives students access to federal grants, work-study opportunities, and low-interest loans to help cover higher education costs. The Wentzville School District is hosting a "FAFSA Frenzy" at Liberty High School on Oct. 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to help any family who needs assistance filling out their FAFSA. There will be local college financial aid representatives there to answer questions. Families are encouraged to start the FAFSA and bring a computer/device so they can log into their FAFSA account and get the help they need.
