From the Rancho Frontier by Mrs. Froumis From the Rancho Frontier by Mrs. Froumis

Hello Longhorns,

Thank you to our ASB, Athletics, and Performing Arts programs for an incredible Homecoming!

We had the pleasure of previewing our almost complete band field show, which transported us straight to London through fantastic music and creative props. We still have one special song left to tie the full performance together—it is going to be awesome!

We were also thrilled to celebrate our brand-new field and track with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. Seeing our sports teams back home with fans cheering them on in the stands has been an absolute delight—the energy in the stadium has truly brought life back to our campus. Lastly, our Longhorns were transported to Italy at the Homecoming dance! A huge thank you to ASB for their amazing decor, detailed planning, and high-energy Pep Assembly.

As we wrap up October, please remember that the 12-week grading period closes this Friday. Be sure to check Aeries to ensure academic focus remains your top priority.

We are looking forward to a spooky Friday as we celebrate Halloween on campus! Please review the costume expectations below before Friday. Lastly, join us at Vista High School this Friday evening as we celebrate our honored rivalry football game. For more details and spirit info, check out the ASB Instagram account.

Let's finish October Strong! Have a great week at the Ranch!

  • December 10: Prototype and Feedback. Earlier that week, students serving on the Superintendent’s Council for Innovative Learning will review a draft Board policy proposal. At this forum, we will share the proposal, share what we heard from the students, and gather final community feedback before preparing the policy for the School Board’s first reading in January.
