Liberty High School Community,

As Liberty High School turns 12 years old next school year, we want to update our weight room and fitness center to meet our expanding needs. Our goal is to create an even better, more fully functional facility with high-quality equipment to meet the needs of our physical education classes and ALL sports programs! 879 students registered for Liberty athletic programs in 2023-24 and approximately 700 students per semester were enrolled in PE courses. These improvements will impact nearly every student at some point while at Liberty. Our goal is to make this the best weight room facility around! With these thoughts in mind, we are kicking off an all-school fundraiser and hoping for your support. Please consider donating to the project at the following link.

DEAD WEEK

June 30, 2024 thru July 7, 2024

The following items must be complete before athletes are eligible to participate in sports at Liberty per Missouri State High School Activities Association requirements.

1. All athletes must have a valid physical on file with the Activities Office before you are eligible to participate in tryouts/official practices (for non tryout sports). Physicals must be completed on the MSHSAA Physical Form. The link to the form can be found below. Physicals are valid for 2 years unless noted as a 1 year physical by your physician. Physicals can be dropped of at school or emailed to deborahwilke@wsdr4.org.
2. All athletes must have a valid ImPACT Test date on file with the Activities Office. ImPACT test dates are valid for 2 years. Summer ImPACT test dates are listed below. Winter & Spring athletes will have the opportunity to take the ImPACT test before your season begins, during the school year.
3. All athletes must complete the Athletic On-Line Registration before tryouts/official practices begin. The Athletic Registration for the 24/25 school year will open July 1.
4. Fall athletes must have earned 3.0 credits during Semester 2 of the 23/24 school year AND must be enrolled in 3.0 credits during the 24/25 school year to be eligible to participate.

Athletes must have a valid physical on file with the Activities Office to be eligible to participate in athletics during the 24/25 school year. Physicals must be completed on the Missouri State High School Activities Association forms. Physicals are valid for 2 years from the date of the physical unless noted by a physician as a 1 year physical. Feel free to drop your physical off at Liberty or email to deborahwilke@wsdr4.org. Please do not email a picture of the physical.

Athletes must have a valid ImPACT test date on file with the Activities Office to be eligible to participate in sports. The test dates are valid for 2 years. We will be proctoring the ImPACT test at Liberty over the summer on the dates and times listed below. Please bring your charged chromebook with you for testing. If you will be participating in athletics at Liberty, you will need to attend any of these dates. Tests cannot be taken at home or at another high school. Athletes playing winter and spring sports will have the opportunity take the ImPACT test before their season, during the school year.

Athletic On-Line Registration will open Monday, July 1, 2024 for all athletes, grades 9-12, trying out for sports at Liberty during the 24/25 school year. Athletes must be registered for the sport they are trying out for to be eligible.
