April 2026
A Season of Renewal and New Possibilities
April carries a powerful theme of renewal, especially as we move through the Easter season and reflect on new beginnings. It’s a time that reminds us that growth often follows challenge, and that transformation is always possible with the right mindset. For many professionals, this season creates a natural moment to pause and ask whether their current path is truly aligned with what they want long term. Business ownership is one path that offers the opportunity to create something new, take greater control, and build a future with intention. It requires openness, courage, and a willingness to step beyond what feels familiar. Just like any season of renewal, the first step starts with a decision to explore what is possible.
All my best!

Made 4 More Mondays – Did You Miss It?
Every Monday, I share a short Made 4 More message to challenge how we think about career, risk, and what’s possible beyond traditional employment.
One that resonated recently was Why Work With a Coach? Many professionals stay stuck not because they lack talent, but because they’re too close to their own situation to see new possibilities. A coach brings an outside perspective to challenge thinking, uncover blind spots, and help you explore paths you may not have considered, including business ownership. If you’re ready to take a more intentional step toward your next chapter, a simple conversation can open the door.
I post Made 4 More Mondays every week. If you missed this one, you can catch it and others on my YouTube channel.
Opportunity in Uncertain Times
April’s headlines can feel heavy, especially with ongoing global tensions like the conflict in Iran. It’s natural for uncertainty to trigger hesitation, but history consistently shows that waiting for “perfect timing” is often what keeps people stuck. In reality, some of the most successful companies were built during periods of disruption, because entrepreneurs stepped forward while others paused.
Research shows that startup activity and job creation often remain steady even during downturns, and in some cases, entrepreneurship actually increases as people rethink traditional paths. At the same time, challenging environments create unique advantages such as less competition, access to stronger talent, and opportunities to solve real, urgent problems in the market.
So why can uncertainty be a powerful time to start a business? Because disruption forces clarity. Consumers change behaviors. Gaps in the market appear. Large companies slow down, while smaller, agile businesses can move quickly and adapt. It becomes less about having everything figured out and more about being willing to take the first step and learn along the way.
How you approach this matters. Starting a business in uncertain times does not mean acting recklessly. It means being intentional. It means surrounding yourself with the right guidance, exploring proven models, understanding funding early, and testing opportunities before making a full commitment. The goal is not blind risk. It is calculated movement forward.
The biggest barrier is rarely the economy, a war, or a recession. It is fear. Fear of instability. Fear of leaving what is familiar. Fear of making the wrong decision. Yet those who move forward are not fearless. They simply decide that staying where they are carries a greater risk than exploring what could be next.
If you’re feeling that tension right now, you’re not alone. This season of uncertainty can either keep you paused, or it can become the catalyst that pushes you to explore something different. The opportunity is not in waiting for things to settle. It is in deciding that your future is worth exploring, even when the world feels uncertain.
