Dear Families,

As the warmth of summer 2025 unfolds, I pray that each of you finds time for rest, renewal, and joyful moments with your loved ones. May this season bring peace to your homes, laughter to your days, and grace to your hearts.

We have just concluded another blessed school year at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Academy—one filled with academic achievement, spiritual growth, and meaningful memories. To our graduates this June, we offer heartfelt congratulations. We are proud of all you have accomplished and pray for your continued success as you take your next steps.

To all of our parents and guardians, thank you for your unwavering support and partnership. Your dedication helps shape the vibrant, faith-filled community we are so proud to call our own.

Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome approximately 635 students in September. While summer brings a well-deserved break, we encourage you to remain rooted in faith, through Sunday Mass, prayer, and acts of kindness, wherever your travels may take you.

We remain committed to nurturing your child’s academic, social, and spiritual development in a safe and faith-filled environment. As always, we welcome your involvement, communication, and support as partners in this journey.

A list of tuition fees for the 2025–2026 school year can be found by clicking the link below.

Tuition is due on the 15th of each month from August through May. Payments are managed through FACTS and may be made online, by phone, or by mail. Auto-pay is also available. Emergency payments in person will only be accepted in rare circumstances.

If you’re new to the school and haven’t received your FACTS enrollment email, please contact mkazalski@stfrancisschoolbh.net.

All new school volunteers must complete VIRTUS training. You can view upcoming sessions and register at www.virtus.org.

We will also host two VIRTUS training sessions in the Fall of 2025. More information to follow.

Summer Assignments and Supply Lists are available on the 2025-2026 School year button of our website at https://stfrancisacademybh.org/2025-2026-school-year

Every student is expected to have all supplies as well as a school bag on the first day of school. All Summer Assignments should be completed by the first day of school as well.

Please note that all returning students going into Grades 1-8 need to finish the I-Ready Math lessons assigned to them. For more information please click on your child’s grade level summer assignment. If your child has forgotten their password please reach out to the administration at admin@stfrancisschoolbh.net. The first lessons are already assigned to them. The next lesson will be released on June Monday 30th.

Incoming students of Grades 1-8 who are new to our school are asked to email the administration at admin@stfrancisschoolbh.net. for a packet of Math lessons that mirror the I-ready work being done this summer, unfroantaely the I-Ready system will not allow us to add new students anymore without them taking diagnostic exams even if they used I-Ready at their current school.

This summer we bid a fond farewell a few of our members of our faculty, Mrs. Kenny, Mrs. Norton, Ms. Smith, Mrs. Warnock, and Mrs. Charles. Their faith-filled dedication has touched so many in our school community. While they may be leaving our daily lives, their impact will remain with us always. We thank them all for their years of service and wish them joy and peace in their next chapters wether it be retirement or new schools.

Additionally, we learned at the end of the school year that both Ms. Cavle and Ms. McMahon will also be moving on from St. Francis as they continue their teaching careers in the New York City Department of Education. We are grateful for their contributions to our academy and wish them great success in this next step of their professional journey.

I am also happy to announce the following changes to our current faculty:

• Mrs. Christina Troia will be taking the position of 5th and 6th Science and 5th Grade Homeroom. Mrs. Troia has taught Science to our 5th and 6th graders before and at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy.

We hope to be able to announce some of our additions to our staff in the coming weeks. Our 1st summer update will be during the week of July 7th.
