Stevenson's Administration Team Message for the Week
Happy Friday Wildcat Families,
Can you believe it’s already September? The school year is flying by! We hope you enjoy the long Labor Day weekend and take some time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We’ll see everyone back on Tuesday!
It has been wonderful to see our students settling into their routines, building relationships, and engaging in their classes. As we continue into the school year, we encourage you to stay connected to your child’s academic progress by checking HAC (Home Access Center) regularly. This is a great way to see how your child is doing and to celebrate their successes along the way.
If your child needs additional academic support, please know that we have several opportunities available. Our Homework Center is open each morning from 8:00–8:30 a.m. in the library, and teachers have also begun offering morning and after-school tutoring. You are always welcome to reach out directly to your child’s teacher if you have questions or feel your child may need additional assistance. We are here to partner with you!

Stevenson Military Pride Club!
Hello Military Connected Families,
Our Stevenson MS Military Pride Club is having our first meeting next month in September. We must have signed permission slips for all members to join us for our lunch time club. Please sign and return the attached permission slip via email or send a signed copy to school with your child.

Club Name: Stevenson MS Military Pride Club Club Sponsor: Counseling Department- Adela Morado Club Description: Students whose parents are/were in the military will meet during lunch to connect. Club meeting Date/Time: Sept. 16th, Oct. 14th, Nov. 4th, Dec. 9th, Jan. 13th, Feb. 18th, March 18th, April 15th (Purple UP Day), May 13th Club meeting Location: Room 215 during student’s lunch period Must turn in the permission slip to join.

UHS & NISD-Teaming up for our annual city-wide drive-thru Flue Drives!
📣 WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE...
NISD will host clinics on Saturday, October 3rd at Gus Stadium and Saturday, October 10th at Farris Athletic Complex. Both are scheduled from 8 am-12 Noon.
Please see the flyer attached and pass along to your families.
Registration is required and open TODAY.
Shots are completely FREE.
Open to everyone 6 months and older.
Please note: Only Flu vaccines will be available (no COVID shots).

Returning Student Registration
📝 Action Required: Complete Your Child’s Enrollment Update in HAC
It’s time to update your child’s enrollment for the upcoming school year! All families must complete this process through the NISD Home Access Center (HAC).👉 https://hac.nisd.net
Getting Started is Easy:
- Log in using your PARENT email address (the one that receives school messages) and your HAC password
- Click the Registration tab
- Select Update Enrollment and click Start
You’ll be asked to:
- Verify your account (first-time login only)
- Confirm whether your child will return to NISD next year
- Review and update your child’s information
✔️ Be sure to click Submit to complete the process!
Multiple Students?
Use the “Change Student” option to complete enrollment for each child.
Need Help?
If you have trouble logging in or don’t see your child listed, please contact the front office and ask for the Attendance Secretary—we’re happy to help!

🚌 Bus Transportation Registration – Don’t Miss This Step!
To secure bus transportation for the 2026–2027 school year, eligible families must register their students in advance.
- Use the Buses & Boundaries System to check if your address qualifies
- New to NISD? Register for transportation during New Student Registration (begins January 20, 2026)
- Currently Enrolled Students: Register during Returning Student Registration (begins March 16, 2026)
- ✅ Deadline: June 30, 2026 (to guarantee service for the first day of school)
Important Notes:
- Transportation for eligible special education students will be arranged through the campus during the ARD meeting
- Magnet students needing transportation must also register
