When we return to school the week of January 6th–9th, we’re kicking off our Snack Pantry Restock—and this time, 2nd grade is leading the way! 🎉

While we’re spotlighting our 2nd-grade families, all PTE families are welcome and encouraged to donate. Every snack donated helps refill classroom snack bins so students have what they need to stay focused and ready to learn.

It may feel far off, but planning is already underway for Spring Fest & Silent Auction 2026, and we promise it will be better than ever!

As our main PTA fundraiser, every dollar raised goes directly to support our students, teachers, and families.

We are seeking sponsorships and donations to make the 2026 event a huge success! Your contribution reaches a broad community audience and helps your business gain local visibility.

A new state requirement now asks volunteers who completed a background check through VOLY after August 12, 2025, to also complete a pre-service affidavit. This affidavit is a legal document that discloses certain background information and is now required for all individuals providing services in schools. Volunteers affected by this change should have received direct communication from the district, and will have until December 17, 2025, to complete the affidavit. You may continue volunteering as usual while you submit the affidavit. After December 17, volunteers who have not completed the affidavit will temporarily move to “Denied” status in VOLY until the new form is submitted and cleared.

All new volunteer applications beginning November 20 and after will include both the affidavit and a background check review.

You may check your account by logging into Voly and filling out the affidavit. LEWISVILLEISD.voly.org/login.

If you have not received communication from the district, please still login to your Voly (LEWISVILLEISD.voly.org/login) account and fill out the affidavit. This will still give us time to process the affidavit before the Winter Parties on December 18, 2025.

Do you have some special visitors who want to have lunch at PTE with a student and the parent/guardian won't be coming with them?

We can help you make that happen. You just need to fill out THIS FORM using an email that is listed for a parent/guardian of the student in Skyward. If you could fill out the form before 9:00 am the day they plan to come to lunch, we can make that happen.

The visitor will still need to bring their ID and check in through the office.

If the parent/guardian will be coming to lunch with the special visitors, there is no need to fill out the form. You being with them is sufficient.
