Back On Track For A Full Week

We have had event after event, and guest speaker after guest speaker for many weeks, and this week was along those lines too. Officer Smith stopped in to present our annual ALiCE chat with students on the bottom floor this week.

Next week, on Friday, we are lucky enough to host the Theatre At The Mount production of Ivy and Bean. The PTA has generously funded this visit, and students will love watching the production right in their own cafeteria/stage. We can't wait and thank you again PTA.

Speaking of thank you PTA, the staff lunch on this past half day was fantastic. So many folks donated and made delicious items, and of course we need to thank Jason Stanton as such a great organizer of this treat for many years!

The poll results on how many newsletters you would enjoy overwhelmingly asked to continue our weekly updates whenever possible, so we will keep that up. Thank you all for replying!

Parent Square Possibility For Conference

This year teachers have the option to manage parent-teacher conference sign-ups through ParentSquare, the district’s communication platform. If your child’s teacher is using ParentSquare you will receive an email, text message, or app notification (depending on the notification settings you selected when you first created your account) from ParentSquare on October 15th. You will be able to sign up for a conference and make changes to your time slot from October 15th through October 30th. If you need to cancel or reschedule your conference after October 30th you should contact the office. Here are some resources to help you get started; please reach out to the office with any questions.

Nature Classroom Calendar Prizes

Our 5th grade will be heading to Nature's Classroom in late May, and we will conduct our Nature's Calendar Raffle in December. This fundraiser offsets the cost of this amazing trip for our kids. If you have a business that could offer a prize, we would be very thankful for your donation. If you are able to contribute a prize on your own, that is also very welcome. Below is a sample from last year so you can see how your business can be publicized. There is also a drawing video from last year that we put on our social media each day.
