Director's Monthly Updates

Wow! Where did the beginning of the school year go? We have seen a lot of growth in our Preschool friends since the beginning of our preschool year. As we jump into the last three school weeks of 2022, we will be focusing on our Winter Theme. Students will be doing a letter review of all the letters we have learned so far, learning all about the Polar and Arctic regions, and digging into the Winter Season in all it's wonder. Your children will create projects to bring home ranging from penguins all the way to a Gingerbread Man. We will have two Read With Me Wednesday's this month, learn all about the Winter season, bring the tricycles out and onto the playground, wrap up the collection for our canned food and toiletries drive, participate in a fire drill, practice a lockdown drill, and so much more!

Please remember that on Read With Me Wednesday your child can be signed out 15 minutes before the end of their class period. This bonding opportunity is designed especially for you and your child to have an opportunity to read together. Students who are read to every day will have been exposed to 3 Million more words by the time they enter school than children who have not had the same opportunity. In order to support this, we ask that you help us focus on reading by ensuring no one plays on the playgrounds during this time. Thanks!

Each and every day is so important and we truly appreciate you ensuring your child is present at school each day and ready to learn. If your child won't be able to come to school we ask that you please contact the school office at 951-657-1441 or contact your teacher using Class Dojo so that we can help excuse your child's absence. Remember, Attendance Counts! We will have a non-student day on Friday, December 16th, please enjoy your Winter Vacation! We will welcome all preschool students and staff back to school on January 9, 2023!
