You can save a live - more than one. Donate blood!

Trunk or Treat

Trunk-or-treating is a Halloween tradition where children collect candy and treats from the decorated, open trunks of parked cars gathered in a central parking lot—such as at a school, church, or community center, but you knew that.

It's the Class of 2027's chance to host their own Trunk-or-Treat on Friday, October 30. They'll be out in the Senior Lot handing out candy.

Our 9th-11th grade should wear their costumes enjoy the fun. Saying "thank you" is essential though.

You know there will be costume contests, games, and car decorating prizes, so bring your A-game.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH ... AVA SQUILLACE

Ava truly embodies what it means to be a Golden Bear. She is a double CTE completer, with three years of Culinary and two years of Ag, a proud member of NTHS, and the co-founder of Students for Seniors. Her caring spirit and commitment to serving others are wonderful examples of our BEAR value of being Service Minded.

Outside of school, Ava enjoys writing stories, poetry, and songs, spending time with friends, and playing guitar. She dreams of becoming a musician and recording artist and plans to continue pursuing her passion after attending SDSU.

Ava approaches life with the mantra, “This too shall pass,” reminding herself to work through the difficult moments, look for the best, and keep moving forward. We are incredibly proud of the passion, kindness, and heart she brings to our Golden Bear community. Congratulations, Ava!
