Message from Principal Phillips
Hello WRJH Families:
I hope everyone is enjoying fall and maybe we will get a stretch of true fall weather instead of summer straight to winter. We had a strong 1st quarter this year and are starting off our 2nd quarter in a great manner. We will have a busy stretch over the next two months and I hope that you have the opportunity to talk with your students about how they are doing and what they need to be successful. We often forget that this time of year is stressful for the students, as well as all of us trying to manage our commitments with all of the family events tied to the holidays. We will have plenty of events, from concerts, sports, Culture night, and fall festival for students to enjoy. With that being said, many of our students will also have an increased amount of family and friend events during this time and we still want them to be successful students. While they are trying to balance all of this, we are here to work with you and support our students. They carry their stress differently than we do as adults, but they still have it. Please reach out to us if you need any extra support for your students during this time of year, we are partners and want the best for all of our students.
Thank You
Jason Phillips

It has been such a wonderful October! As the leaves have fallen, everything has been so beautiful here at WRJH. We had the chance to see some amazing performances at our Diwali Festival. I got to beat Mr. Payne at Bowling for our Bowling incentive. (He may never live that down!). It has been awesome.
That being said, there is even more to come! I am excited to have our annual Veteranโs Day Assembly on November 13th. Our Reynoldsburg VFW does a wonderful performance for our students. Our band has been working so hard on the songs they have prepared.
We have Quarter 2 Incentive coming in January. We are going to the movies! Students need to make sure to have NO ISS, NO OSS, Be making effort in their classes, not be tardy to class, and make sure to not have their cell phones taken by admin. Our PBIS team works hard to create incentives for our students who are having positive behavior here at WRJH.
Please remind students that they should not be having cell phones here at school. Also please be checking grades as quarter two is when we see many students struggle with the work load. Thank you for allowing me to spend time with your students. I am proud of my position here at WRJH and know that we are going to ROCK Quarter Two!!!!!
