ARMS Library

Moonlight Magic Booksale

The Arms is having its Moonlight Magic Booksale on the Friday after Thanksgiving. 4-9 p.m. We will be on the main floor in the rotunda and reading room. We are stretching out into the main floor level, and will have more books than last year.

We are especially looking for children's and young adult books in very good shape; ones you would gift, or would like to be gifted.

Jewelry-Making Class Two-in-one

Join us on Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. for a class in jewelry-making. It's a two-fer for adults and kiddos.

Laura Porter will show us how to make beaded bracelets and necklaces. She will bring materials, from years of professional jewelry-making that she will be bringing for use in the class. The clasps used will be made of non-precious metals.

We will have a separate section and techniques for children, creating easy, bright jewelry, taught separately by Laurie.

Find us in the upstairs meeting room. Tables will be distanced from each other. Masks are requested during this class.

Make Felted Ornaments - Cookie Cutter Style!

This is an easy, fun way to make ornaments for the holiday season. We have several dozen different cookie cutter shapes, and lots of dry needle felting supplies.

Dec. 3, at 4 p.m. in the upstairs reading room at the Arms Library in Shelburne Falls, MA.

Again, this is suitable and fun, for families and all ages.

We last did this a few Februaries ago, and made sweet, heart ornaments.

Do join us.
