Hall of Fame Selection Committee

Duties, Responsibilities, and Guidelines:

1. Committee Members will attend all the regularly scheduled selection meetings and evaluate the nominations

2. Approve only those individuals who had significant and or long-term athletic contributions to Weymouth Public Schools

3. Evaluate and update the policies and operational procedures and provide recommendations for positive change

   1. A quorum must be present in order for any business to be transacted. A quorum shall be ⅚ or the committee present.

   2. A consensus is necessary for all decisions regarding policy and procedure changes. If a consensus cannot be reached then a vote can be taken, but must be a majority vote.

4. No member of the committee will be eligible for induction while serving on the selection committee

5. Keep all action of the Selection Committee confidential

The weymouth High School Athletic Hall of Fame exists to recognize and honor the Weymouth High School Athletes, Coaches, Teams and Athletics Contributors for their achievements and/or contributions to the Weymouth High School Athletic Program.
