Pride Preview Vol. 29
Week of Monday, Mar 23 - Friday, Mar 27, 2026.
Principal's Message
Welcome back! I hope you had a restful and refreshing Spring Break and are coming back recharged and ready for a strong Quarter 4.
This is one of the most important stretches of the year. Our Lions are counting on us for strong Tier 1 instruction, intentional planning, thoughtful analysis of student work, and consistent presence in classrooms and hallways. The small daily moments — the micro-corrections, the encouragement, the reteach, the celebration — will make the difference.
I also hope you had fun with your rubber ducky over break! Ludo, my new puppy, may have gotten hold of mine a little too soon… let’s just say it barely survived the encounter. 🐶🦆
Be sure to email a photo of your ducky adventure to Ms. Timms so we can celebrate our creativity and kick off the quarter with some joy.
Let’s start Quarter 4 strong, unified, and energized. We’ve got this!

CAMPUS-WIDE NEWS
📖 FYI
Campus Construction Update
- A significant amount of work was completed over Spring Break. You will notice several new features across campus, as well as a few areas that are still works in progress.
- The construction team was diligent in cleaning and securing work areas before our return. However, if you notice any safety concerns or areas that need attention, please notify the front office immediately so we can address them promptly.
Makerspace Access & Supervision Update
- The Makerspace exit doors, patio, and ramp are now open for use. This provides a new pathway for staff and visitors to traverse from the front of the building to the back along the sidewalk.
- The updated construction fencing has opened this route; however, during recess, students should not enter the garden area near the Makerspace, as this creates a supervision blind spot.
- Please reinforce boundaries with students and maintain active supervision in this area. If you notice any safety concerns, notify the front office immediately.

OPERATIONS
Inclement Weather Update
April 6 and May 4 will NOT be used as make-up days. Schools will be closed on both days for students and staff.
Attendance & Work Hours
As we return from Spring Break, we will be closely monitoring attendance and work hours procedures. Please ensure absences are entered in Frontline in advance and sub plans are updated.
Indoor Recess & Laptop Usage
District-issued laptops are for instructional use only. Students should not be using laptops during indoor recess or other non-instructional times. Please actively monitor and enforce this expectation.
Week 2 of Lion Pulse
Thank you to those who completed it week 1. This quick check-in helps us stay connected and aware of how our team is doing as we move through a busy season.
If you haven’t already, please take a moment to share how you’re doing. Your voice matters.
