Message from the Sunfield Administration Message from the Sunfield Administration

Hello stallion families,

Sunfield is so excited to be hosting the Apex Fun Run as our major fundraiser this semester. Apex is a two-week leadership program that ends with a fun fitness fundraiser. Throughout the program, students will participate in daily character-building lessons and have opportunities to earn awards as they learn what it takes to be a true leader. Parents should be receiving updates from their student's teacher each day. (See below) If you are not receiving them, please reach out to your teacher.

As I shared in a previous email, our main goal is to use the money raised to enhance our covered outdoor area by adding permanent tables and seating for our students. Any additional funds will go right back into making Sunfield an even better place for our students to learn and grow.

We are so excited about this fundraiser and appreciate your support in helping us make great things happen for our Stallions. We hope you will come and cheer our Stallions on as they complete the Fun Run on October 23rd. See how to pre-register for the event below.

Several parents have asked for a list of our staff members’ favorite things, and we are happy to share! Please see the attached list.

We are so fortunate to have an amazing staff at Sunfield, and it means so much that our families and community want to show them a little extra appreciation. Thank you for thinking of our wonderful staff!

Parentsβ€”please note a few updates. We learned that the district’s Pink Out Day is October 23rd. This is also our Fun Run day, but we still wanted to find a way to participate.

We also updated the Book Character Parade to include Pre-K–2nd grade. Our 3rd–5th graders will watch the parade and view their decorated pumpkins that day.

Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for your flexibility!
