Pine County 4-H Update

The Extension Office will be closed on Monday, September 7, in observance in of Labor Day.

If you're going to the Fair, be sure to check the schedule for 4-H events and opportunities to catch your 4-H friends in action. Find results for all Pine County exhibitors at z.umn.edu/PineStateResults once results start coming in.

We are looking for youth and adults who would like to join two committees for the fall!

• Recognition Night - want to help plan our recognition night event? We are looking for input and planning support from a committee that will meet in August and early September.
• Scholarship Committee - you can help review Higher Education Scholarship applications in mid- to late- September.

Make your voice heard! The Pine County Community Extension Committee is looking for two students, preferably one junior and one senior, that would serve as youth liaison from September 2026 to August 2027. Youth liaisons would attend committee meetings, offer feedback to adult committee members, and provide suggestions for the direction of Extension offerings in Pine County.
