Daniel Feeney Preschool Update September 29, 2023

Greetings Feeney Families and Friends

The week full of learning and joy throughout the preschool as students continue to navigate their learning environments. Much of the learning has been focused on apples and fall themes as you can see from your child's Class Dojo or Photocircle. As we enter October our learning will focus on fall themes - changing seasons, fall leaves, pumpkins, acorns and much more.

We target academic play and learning standards through thematic vocabulary, concepts, and play.

Looking ahead to October we welcome you to the preschool for our Family/Educator Conferences. This is an opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to discuss your child's transition to preschool, their strengths, and goals to work towards. It is also an opportunity for us to hear about your child's preschool adjustment and experience from your perspective.

In the coming weeks, your child's teacher will share a Google Doc to sign up for these conferences.

Enjoy the weekend ahead.

Warm regards,

Julie

Communication is Key!

Thank you for your proactive communication with me and our educators. This is key at this age and ALL ages. There is no detail that is too small, and many of these small details can have big impact on your child's day. If your child did not get a good night's sleep, growing those 3 year old molars, or has decided not to eat what was once a favorite food, please let us know. This information assists us in helping your child throughout his or her day.
