From the Principal...
Good Afternoon Mac Families,
It has been an exciting month at school with many celebrations of learning and student accomplishments. We wrapped our February focus on honesty, and it was great to hear the ways our students practiced it in their everyday lives. Students shared stories about being honest about unfinished homework, turning in lost items, and bringing Eagle tickets they found to trusted adults so they could be returned to the right person. Small choices like these help build the kind of school community we are proud of.
Students also completed our Heart Scavenger Hunt Challenge, which included a series of activities focused on caring for others and strengthening our Mac community. To celebrate their success, the kids earned the opportunity to turn Mr. Jacobson, Mrs. Hollender, and me into snowmen. It was a fun moment and a reminder of how much joy students bring to our building each day.
As we turn the calendar to March, our schoolwide focus shifts to cooperation and working together to accomplish great things. We also have Forward assessments for our 3–5 students and conferences on the horizon. Please watch for communication from your child’s teacher with more specific information.
Thank you, as always, for being such strong partners in this community. Hard to believe, but we are already beginning the sprint toward the finish line in June.
Make it a great weekend, everyone!
Steve

After School Activities
Please send an eagle note in when your child has an after school activity. If your student has DI practice, Girl Scouts, Lego club, Girls on the Run, or any other activity, please note that the teacher needs to know they can release your child to that activity. They are unable to attend without a note from a guardian.
Busses and Arrival/Dismissal
Go Riteway Bus Company's phone number is 262-677-3282. Please reach out to them regarding questions on your child's bus route, times of pick up or drop off, and other questions regarding the bus. Click below for the E-Link used to check your scholar's current routing plan (username is student ID, password is the phone number in Skyward - please make sure all dashes/spaces/parentheses as removed).
If you would like to sign up for the bus, please contact the office.
If there is a routing update or change in your bussing plan at any point, please alert your scholar's teacher as well as the front office.
Please complete the DISTRICT VOLUNTEER APPLICATION using the button above if you are interested in volunteering at school or chaperoning a field trip with MacArthur. This form MUST be filled out and the background check needs to be cleared (it can take up to two weeks to clear) if you would like to help.
