WCEA/WASC Parent Survey Results
Thank you to those who responded to the WCEA/WASC Parent Survey. Approximately 55% of parents participated. Below is the breakdown of participation by grade level.
Summary of Results
As part of our WCEA–WASC accreditation process, parents were invited to share feedback across four key domains: Catholic Identity and Faith Formation, Governance and Leadership, Academic Excellence, and Safe and Supportive Environment. The results provided valuable insights into our strengths and areas for continued growth.
Catholic Identity and Faith Formation:
Parent perception of achievement in this domain was very high. Families expressed appreciation for the school’s strong integration of faith, prayer, and service throughout daily life. The school’s commitment to living its Catholic mission was evident and well recognized by the community.
Governance, Leadership, and Resources:
Scores in this domain were more mixed. While parents indicated confidence in the school’s leadership and direction, responses also pointed to opportunities for growth in communication, transparency, and the allocation of resources to best support student learning.
Academic Excellence (Teaching and Learning):
The school performed strongly in this area. Parents acknowledged high academic standards, effective instruction, and strong student outcomes. Some dips were noted in the evaluation of student work, teacher recruitment, and professional development—areas the school is already working to strengthen through ongoing initiatives.
Operational Vitality:
This domain received strong marks from parents. Feedback reflected confidence in the school’s stability, organization, and overall management of operations. Parents expressed appreciation for the school’s effective communication systems, fiscal responsibility, and the consistency with which day-to-day operations support the school’s mission and educational programs.
