Happy Wednesday BIS families,
We have lots to celebrate at BIS this month! In addition to Valentine's Day, our schools promote literacy in February through the ReadtoME Challenge so be sure to read to/with a child for at least 15 minutes. Snap a photo or short video (15-30 seconds) and post with your challenge to others to read aloud for 15 minutes to a child they know. Use hashtags #ReadtoME or #ReadaloudME and tag others.
BIS is also celebrating Sports Day this Friday in honor of the Superbowl this weekend and Pajama Day next Friday to kick off February break.
Date Reminders:
- February 11 - Fun Friday: Sports Day
- February 18 - Pajama Day
- February 21-25 - Break: No School
- March 1 - NAEP Testing: Select 4th graders only
- March 2 - Early Release
Sincerely,
Lindsey Nadeau
Biddeford Intermediate School Principal
