Nike Weekly Scout Report

Good afternoon Nike families,

On Tuesday, November 11 we will have a Veterans Day program in the Nike gym. If you would like to submit a photo of your Veteran to be included in the slideshow, please email nswaller@mvr3.k12.mo.us. All photos must be submitted by Friday, November 7. Veterans that would like to attend may enter through the Gym doors. Refreshments will be at 2:30 pm and the program will begin at 2:45 pm.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are next Wednesday, November 12 from 4-7 pm. If you would like to set up a meeting with your child's teacher, please reach out to them directly.

Your child has important information in their Thursday folder. Please make sure to check the folder weekly and respond to any communication that came home.

Next Thursday, November 13 is World Kindness Day. We will be celebrating at Nike by dressing like Mr. Rogers. Students are welcome to participate by wearing cardigans.

Please make sure to read below for information for the Balloons Over Broadway event planned for November 21, so you can begin preparations.

Nike students had a wonderful time dressing up and showing off their costumes during our Halloween Parade! 👻 We were thrilled to see so many families, friends, and community members come out to cheer on the students and enjoy the festivities. A great time was had by all — thank you for helping make this event such a success! 🧡🖤

Our Class Families recently met and enjoyed a fun activity based on The Legend of Spookley the Square Pumpkin! Students worked together, shared laughs, and celebrated the story’s message about kindness and embracing our differences. Everyone had a great time connecting and learning together! 🧡
