Important Information:
>Breakfast Reminder: If you have students who eat breakfast at school, please remind them to go directly to the cafeteria before going to the classroom. Breakfast ends at 8:40 a.m.
Students who arrive after 8:40 a.m. should report directly to their classroom and will not be served breakfast. The exception is students who arrive late due to a school bus delay.
>A Friendly Email Reminder: Please feel free to use the staff email list from the Weekly Update when you need to communicate with your CLP colleagues. Just a quick reminder that the Weekly Update distribution list includes some individuals who are not part of our CLP building staff, so please be mindful when selecting “Reply All.” Also, when starting a new conversation using this email list, please update the subject line from “Weekly Update” to something that reflects the topic of your message. This will help everyone easily identify and follow email conversations.

>We have only one more required safety drill this semester! It is our Tornado Drill which is scheduled for September 9th.
Tornado Drills – One each semester
An administrator will announce: "Country Lane staff and students we are conducting a tornado drill. Please take your students to your designated safe area now. This is a tornado drill.”
1. Move as quickly as possible with your class to the designated area.
2. In rare instances, your designated area may be full. If so, quickly find another spot or double up behind another class.
>We have our first professional day this Friday, September 11th. Teacher work hours are 8:00AM-3:30PM. Our framework for that day is below:
8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Welcome & Connect @ Site
8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Faculty Meeting & PD. Align to Achieve District PD Focus @ Site (Led by site administration)
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM: Kagan Engagement
10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Break
10:15 AM – 11:45 AM: Title One Committee Meeting
11:45 AM – 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Safe School Committee Meeting
1:30 PM-2:30PM: Professional Learning Communities (PLC)
2:30 PM-3:30 PM : Grade Level Planning
