Picture Retakes

Picture retakes will be held on Thursday, November 13th. If your child was absent or hadn't started at CHIPS on our picture days, they will also have their picture taken on this day. Here are a few points about picture retakes to keep in mind:

  • If you received a picture package, please send it back to school if your child is having retakes.
  • Please let your child's teacher and/or the CHIPS office know if child is having their picture retaken or taken for the first time on retake day.
  • If your child does not attend school on Thursday, you may bring them for picture retakes anytime before 1:00 on retake day

Health News

Wishing you a Safe and Happy Halloween! Please remember to inspect your child's candy and treats if they have food allergies and will be Trick or Treating (watching out for other kids sharing/swapping treats). Speaking of sharing...Hooray! CHIPS makes handwashing a big part of their day, doing their best NOT to share, keeping those germs away.

Recently, the district held Flu clinics for all staff members, working to keep our community a healthy place. Please consider having your child receive the FLU (Influenza) Vaccine as well. It's not too early! Reach out to your physician for further advice or Nurse Kristen at any time. Below you will find helpful CDC Flu guidance and a fun story with coloring pages to share with your child about Fighting the Flu!

Please use our absence line (978-251-5188 Option 0) or our attendance email (chipsattendance@chelmsford.k12.ma.us) to report your child's absence from school and be sure to state the reason for the absence (illness, appointment, travel, etc). If your child is out due to illness, please let us know the nature of the illness (fever, vomiting, cough, etc.).

Nurse Kristen can be reached by calling the CHIPS main number (978-251-5188) and selecting option 3.
