Self-Esteem 🌸 Resources

The spring is like a perfect storm - state testing, more difficult content is being taught in class, a rise in friendship conflicts, and warmer temperatures (which means more shorts and short sleeves). All of this can be roughhhh on kids' self-esteem.

That's why I wanted to do a quick round-up of some self-esteem resources. Below, you'll find blog posts, free resources and other resources that will help you further explore the concept of self-esteem with your students, and help them become more confident in themselves.

PSAT + Course Selections

Did you know that your PSAT score report recommends future AP courses based on past test scores? If you’ve taken the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or PSAT 8/9, you can look at your online score report to see suggestions about which AP courses College Board thinks you'll do well in.

SAT & ACT Score Report Sends

On the day of the SAT and ACT, you're able to list "college codes" for where you want your scores sent for free. While this will save you money, it could have other implications that could hurt your chances of admissions and even scholarship opportunities.
If you do decide to list "college codes" on the day of the test and then decide you don't want them sent, you can withdraw by contacting College Board or ACT.
Side note: once a college sees your scores, they can't un-see them.
Get Schooled! Free Printed Materials
Get Schooled has free printed materials: one-pagers, checklists, flyers, posters, stickers, and more. Materials include resources on getting a job, high school success tips, college access help, and college success skills. Complete this short form.
