Congratulations to the September Lion Leaders!
Lion Leaders are selected by each classroom teacher at Bunker Hill. These students are selected due to the leadership they show each day through using our PRIDE expectations in being PREPARED, RESPECTFUL, showing INTEGRITY and DETERMINATION, while doing so with EXCELLENCE! We are so proud of our Lion Leaders!

October 28th: Judging will take place and winners will be announced! Prizes will be awarded to the students with the best-decorated pumpkins!
October 29th - 30th: Be sure to pick up your pumpkin! Any pumpkins left after October 30th will be disposed of.
Click HERE for full directions, the submission form, and examples. We can’t wait to see your storybook pumpkins!

2026 BHE International Day
Save the Date
International Day is Thursday, October 29th!
Kinder, 1st and 2nd grade parents will enter through the main office at 8:00 a.m.
3rd, 4th and 5th grade parents (without children in lower grades) will enter through the field gates at 8:15 a.m.
Parents can expect to leave BHE between 9:00 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. that morning.
Register
Save yourself time by RSVPing so that you'll secure a pre-printed name badge when you arrive on Thursday morning, October 29th. Name badges can be pre-printed for school events only if you've previously scanned your photo ID at the front desk. (This ensures you are an approved visitor in our security system, Raptor, for the remainder of the school year.)
Plan a Costume
All students are encouraged to celebrate a country of their choice by dressing in traditional clothing that represents and honors its culture. To help us celebrate respectfully, we kindly ask families to avoid costumes or accessories that could be considered cultural appropriation, including inflatable costumes or stereotypical representations.
We can’t wait to celebrate the incredible cultures and traditions that make our BHE community so special!

Sister School Donations Needed!
BHE’s sister school, Thornwood Elementary, is collecting items for their PBIS store, safety patrols and scrapbooking club. You can help by ordering from the Amazon wish list and shipping directly to the school, or dropping donations off at Keleigh Spinner’s home at 11820 Chapelwood Ln. Items don’t have to be on the wish list—any small prizes your child would enjoy or scrapbooking supplies are appreciated!
Questions? Contact Keleigh Spinner at 512-825-6028.
Thank you for supporting our sister school!
