By the end of first quarter, all 9th graders will have met with their counselor in small informal groups during flex and completed LLC/Counseling Seminar. Freshman spend their time in seminar learning about digital citizenship with our media specialists and covering topics like time management, resilience and the resources available at RHS with school counselors.

10th Grade 10th Grade

Our 10th graders recently completed the Naviance Career Cluster Finder inventory. Students can use this quick assessment to link their interests and skills to career clusters.

The results (sample shown below) give students a great starting point for thinking about their future and making informed decisions about their classes. We encourage you to chat with your student about their results and check out the resources on Naviance together.

In November, school counselors will be presenting to the junior class at large during advisory. Counselors will review this year's general timeline, resources students can utilize to explore their options, and more.

We encourage 11th graders to check upcoming SAT and ACT test dates and register online. Keep in mind that many colleges and universities require standardized test scores for general admission, specific majors, or scholarship eligibility.
