Fall District Assessment Interims
We are preparing for District Assessment Interim season. Students enrolled in the courses below will take a District Assessment Interim (midterm) as part of their grade.
District Assessments are developed to align to the Academic, Knowledge, and Skills (AKS) and GCPS instructional calendars in the areas of language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. These assessments allow students to demonstrate what they know, understand, and are able to do and help teachers determine whether students are performing as expected or need additional support to be successful.
District Assessment Interim Testing Schedule:
- Tuesday, October 6th: 9th, 10th, 11th grade Language Arts, and AP Seminar
- Wednesday, October 7th: World History and U.S. History
- Thursday, October 8th: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Friday, October 9th: Algebra, Geometry, Accelerated Geometry, and Advanced Algebra
The District Assessment Interims will be given online. Student must bring their GCPS issued Chromebook (charged) and a charger.
We ask that you speak to your student about the importance of Academic Honesty. We want to ensure that students complete their assessments with integrity by not using unauthorized technology or resources.
Please be sure to attend school for these testing days.
Thank you,
Panther Assessment Office
