Mrs. Stark's Message
It has been a great week of learning! We are well into our established routines and you should be seeing planners coming home every day. Please check your child's backpack and planner daily. You can use this tool to communicate with the teacher as well.
Throughout the month of September we will be focusing on the character traits of kindness and respect. Students will hear stories about these traits as well as participate in guidance lessons. Each month we will focus on a new trait. At the end of each month, a student from each classroom will be nominated to join the Little Eagle Club. Their name will be announced on the morning announcements and their picture will be in the newsletter. They will also participate in a celebration!
Have a wonderful weekend! We will see you on Monday!

Stay in the Game! 🏈
Just like how we set goals in school, we encourage you to set attendance goals at home . Goals involve clear action steps to achieve success. By following the plan above, you can help your child STAY IN THE GAME!
This past Friday, JJ Strang was awarded 3 tickets to the Browns game for having outstanding attendance! Way to Stay in the Game, JJ!
Learning Fun
Our all school picture on the playground. We attempted to spell out the word BROWNS, but instead just did a group picture!
We had a blast with our first Fist Bump Friday! Shout out to the football team for starting our day off right!
One student asked us "Are these the Browns players?"
So many students participated in our Childhood Cancer Awareness Day!
Kindness is EVERYWHERE! Proud of our students who have been earning Kindness Awards!
Bell Ringers
We had so many bell ringers this week! Some were for reaching individual growth goals. Others were for reaching a class goal tied to our expectations. After the bell is rung, students do a 30 second dance party to celebrate. They are quite the dancers!
Fall Testing
Every class has an Eagle Block. This is a time when students are given extra support with academics whether it is through intervention or enrichment. This occurs in every classroom on a daily basis for a 30 minute block of time.
Back to School Forms
We still have several families that have not completed their back to school emergency forms. Letters went home last week about it. It is imperative that we have this completed for every child.
