Dear Parents,

What an unforgettable first week of school! We had so much fun welcoming our brand-new first graders to the classroom, and our hearts are already so full. This week was all about making new friends, learning our classroom routines, and discovering just how magical first grade is going to be. From exploring our cozy reading nooks to sharing big smiles at recess, your little learners brought so much joy, energy, and curiosity through our doors every single day.

Thank you so much for sharing your sweet kiddos with us and for helping make our first week together a huge success. Rest up this weekendโ€”we can't wait to see those bright eyes and big smiles on Monday morning!

Important Information

Attendance/Absences:

There is a change this year for doctorโ€™s notes or other supporting documentation for an absence. They should now be submitted by completing the online Attendance Note Submission form and uploading the documentation within the form. Student's 8-digit ID numbers (900...) are required in order to complete the form, and may be found in Skyward Family Access. This process applies to both full-day and partial-day absences. Please note that a parent notification submitted through Skyward Family Access regarding a doctor's visit does not qualify as a doctor's note. If you have any questions, please reach out to our registrar at windsong-registrar@prosper-isd.net.
