Dear Duval Families-

We had another great week at school, and it was wonderful to get outside for outdoor recess! The students really enjoyed the fresh air and the chance to run and play together.

This week, we also had four of our 5th grade students present a live episode of Dolphin TV for Dr. Marcus and the School Committee. They did a fantastic job! Be sure to scroll down to the Dolphin TV section of the newsletter to view our very special live episode.

As we continue spending more time outside, we’re noticing that some clothing items are being left behind. In the coming days, we will be cleaning out the lost and found. If you think your child may be missing a clothing item, please encourage them to check the lost and found before the clean-out.

We also ask that you label all outerwear your child brings to school for recess. As we head outside more often, labeled items make it much easier to return jackets, sweatshirts, and other clothing to their owners.

This Thursday is our Talent Show, and we are so excited to watch our Duval students show off their unique talents. We wish all of the participants the best of luck and can’t wait to see the amazing performances!

- Students MUST come to school prepared to go outside which includes a winter coat, and gloves, hat and boots on really cold or snowy days.Please email Ms. Craig or Mrs. Salamone if you need help getting winter gear.

- Traffic around Duval is ONE WAY. Toward South Ave both in front and behind the school. There is NO PASSING during Drop Off or Pick Up.

- There is also no public access behind the building during school hours. Even if the cones aren't up, please don't drive around the building 9:20am-3pm.

- Please don't rely on a phone call or email during the day for dismissal changes. Unless it is an emergency, please send a note.

Hello Duval families!

Our Talent Show is this Thursday and we cannot wait to see the amazing acts on the big stage. Reminder- tickets are not sent home, there will be a list to check in at the door.

We will also have a new dining partnership for March at Regal Marketplace. Our event has been pushed back a week due to renovations and will begin tomorrow, March 16th! Please see the flyer for details- our dining partnerships have been so successful this year and have been a great way to connect with our amazing local businesses while also supporting Duval!

We also have our March PTO meeting this Tuesday, 3/17. We will be discussing all of the upcoming spring events as well as board nominations. All positions are open each year, come on Tuesday to learn more about how to get involved. The Duval PTO is such a fun way to participate in creating memories for our students!
