2nd Grade
2nd Quarter

1st Quarter Complete
Success In Second Grade
Our first nine weeks are completed and this group of kiddos have done amazing! We learned our routines, raised money for our school, jumped into reading and stretched our minds in Spanish. We have had lessons with Mrs. Zimmerman, some intense soccer games, and yearbook pictures completed!
Donations for Our Classrooms
We are always welcoming donations for our classroom. These items we always seem to need:
- tissues
-dry erase markers (black)
- markers
- glue sticks
- presharpened pencils
- rubber erasers
*Also, remember your child's teacher when you clean out toys, board games, blocks and puzzles. We love "hand-me-downs" for recess toys! Our soccer kids go through soccer balls- we would love a back up ball or two!

Upcoming Field Trip
November 24
On Tuesday, November 24, our grade will have our field trip to Skyline Caverns in Front Royal Virginia. We will depart from school around 9am and return before 1pm. Upon our return we will have lunch in our classrooms. We are asking parents to send students with a morning snack we can eat before we leave. At this time- no chaperones are needed due to size costraints during tours.
