Meet the Child Study Team

The Child Study Team consists of our School Psychologist, Dr. Donna McCartin, our Social Worker, Ms. Stacy Liu, and our Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, Ms. Donna Spader. Collectively, the team has 61 years experience in the field of special education and 40 years in Oceanport. Additionally, our secretary, Mrs. Eileen Rolleri, has been a staple of Oceanport for nearly 38 years!

The responsibility of the Child Study Team is to locate, identify, evaluate, determine eligibility, and develop an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for students suspected of having educational disabilities. The team works closely with teachers and families to promote a cooperative approach to the educational, social, and physical well being of children.

The Great Kindness Challenge

As a district, we will be celebrating the Great Kindness Challenge again this year. During the week of 1/23-1/27, students will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities centered around spreading kindness. Below are some suggestions for ways to incorporate this at home.
