Clark Weekly News
Week ending 10/3/25
A Note from your Principal
Dear Clark students, staff, and families,
TGIF! I want to use this opportunity to thank the entire staff of Clark and wonderful parent volunteers who cover our front desk. Without their support and teamwork, I wouldn't have gotten to enjoy picking apples, plums, and peaches while enjoying Lake Michigan and the cooler weather for a week. I brought a little cooler weather back to us here and Ohio and Michigan would happily take this rain!
We truly have an outstanding team dedicated to providing the best educational opportunites and support and for that, I am truly grateful.
With gratitude,
Dr. Judd
BIG NEWS!

This is also where scholarships and other key senior year things are housed. Students in all grades will begin some modules starting next week. Email ljudd@irsc.edu if you need your log in info.
Monthly Assembly next Friday, October 10 at 9:30 am. This is very important as we cover information related to healthy relationships and teen dating violence that is required by statute. All who attend will not have to complete those online modules. Juniors and select seniors will attend in lieu of Flight School. We will also be continuing with our Character Counts program and learning more about this month's pillar of Trustworthiness.
Lost and found is growing- claim your water bottles and we also have SEVERAL rings in the office.
PSAT INFO The required Blue Book application is available on the Clark laptop. Make sure you have updated it by Tuesday. Check the front office window and your Clark email to see where to report Wednesday before 8 am for testing. Students who are not testing will be assigned to alternate rooms and teachers will provide work as attendance is still required.

Staff Spotlight
💚🖤Get to know your Clark family🖤💚
Meet one of our amazing team members, Ms. Whelpley.
Ms. Whelpley is just about to hit her 2 year mark at Clark as officially the Administrative Assistant, but we know she wears a lot of hats beyond that! From front desk to paying the bills, to handling MANY textbooks, back up clinic staff, and much more, Ms. Whelpley helps the school function! When asked to help get to know her better, she shared she "Enjoys spending time at Disney, relaxing with our 4 cats and love watching hockey. Her favorite team is the New York Rangers." She even flew up there just to meet one of her favorite players and has the photos to show for it! When asked what she loves about Clark she shared, "The small atmosphere, co-workers are great and of course being able to help the students."
We are so grateful for such a dedicated team member who goes above and beyond to help our students!
