Fremont MS Family Newsletter
Principal's Message
Good afternoon,
December is in full swing and we have just two short weeks until Winter Break. With the colder temperatures, please be sure your student has covered arms and legs for recess. Students can play outside at recess if the temperature or wind chill is at or above 20°F. Once temperatures drop below that or conditions on the blacktop are not safe, we will hold recess indoors in the cafeteria.
We have our first school dance sponsored by the Student Council on Friday, December 12th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Students must be in attendance on 12/12/25 and cannot have disciplinary action on that day to be eligible to attend.
Honor Roll certificates were handed out today (12/5) during Flex. Please see the Honor Roll criteria here.
Warm Regards,
Emily Loerakker
Fremont MS Principal

MASC students from Fremont, Carl Sandburg, West Oak, Mundelein High School, and Carmel High School along with the Mundelein Police Department delivered over 40 turkeys and 96 pre-packaged dinners to families in need throughout the Mundelein area! Our Fremont members worked incredibly hard to sort and package the dinners as well as enthusiastically deliver them to the families!
