🐾 A Note from the Principal 🐾 My Purpose & Passion💙
Dear Booker Families, Staff, and Scholars,
What an AMAZING Field Day! Thank you all for helping make this event such a fun-filled and exciting day for our students. Our scholars had an incredible time, and it would not have been possible without the support of our amazing parents, staff, and volunteers. A HUGE shout out and special thank you to Coach Temple and the entire PAWS Team for planning and organizing such an outstanding event for our students. Your hard work, energy, and dedication helped create lasting memories for our Bengals!
As we enter the final stretch of the school year, we only have 8.5 more days remaining, and we want to FINISH STRONG! We encourage all scholars to continue doing their Booker Best every single day until the very end of the school year. At this time, we are carefully analyzing academic data and finalizing summer school lists, enrichment and intervention opportunities, grade placements, and retention review considerations for students who qualify for enrichment or additional academic support in the summer and/or the upcoming school year, due to high performance, failing grades and/or poor attendance. Parent partnership is extremely important during this process. If you receive a call from the school, please return our call as soon as possible so we can discuss your child’s academic performance, academic camp opportunities, and/or summer school enrollment options. Please note that next year's placements and promotions, summer school enrollment, and academic opportunities are determined based on district guidelines and student data. As we continue reviewing data, final selections and recommendations will be communicated to families.
Reminder:
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, May 26, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.
Our final three school days will follow, and Friday, May 29, 2026, will be an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY at 12:55 PM. Please make arrangements early to ensure timely student pick-up.
We are excited to finish the year strong together, Bengals! Attendance continues to matter every single day, and we do not want students missing out on the many exciting end-of-year activities and celebrations taking place across campus. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
Bengal Pride Always,
Keisha Womack
