Rivalry Games on Tilt for Lacrosse This Week
The lacrosse teams had two tough battles last week. The JV team beat Cherokee Trail 5-4 in a tight game and the varsity team lost to Cherokee Trail 12-13 in a game that went back and forth all night. It was a nail biter in the rain!
Big shout out to Thomas Perkins (Sr), Carson Jutting (Jr) and Will Herzig (Sr) for their unrelenting defense and to Tommy Roberts (Jr) and Flynn Leonard (Jr) for scoring 10 of the 12 goals together.
Both teams have a rivalry game this week and need your support! Come on over to Boulder and cheer them on.

Monarch High School Booster Club strives to enhance excellence at Monarch by supporting over 50 student clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities each year. These activities give students an opportunity to explore and pursue a variety of interests, develop valuable skills outside the classroom, and grow as students and community members. The Booster Club Scholarship recognizes individual students who make the most of these opportunities. Last year the Booster Club awarded ten $1000 scholarships to deserving students. Applications are due April 8. Click the link above or visit our website for more information: https://sites.google.com/view/monarchboosterclub/scholarships

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Booster Club is run by a FUN group of volunteers who are passionate about helping to create an amazing high school experience for our students! We love and need volunteers to pull it off.
- Membership Coordinator: The Membership Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating between clubs, teams, groups, and community members that would like to join or benefit from the MOHI Booster Club.
- Cave Coordinator: The Cave Coordinator helps to ensure that our wonderful swag shack stays updated with the latest and greatest MOHI apparel.
- Sponsorship Coordinator: This position requires attention before the start of the school year, typically in July: emails, phone calls, and general community outreach to entice local businesses to become sponsors. Most of your time required is during July, August & September, and the physical maintenance of the banners throughout the school year.
If you are passionate about supporting our students and fostering community connections, we invite you to apply for these integral roles in enhancing MOHI’s school's programs and initiatives. We would like to have people fill these roles before May 1. Please contact monarchboosterclub@gmail.com to learn more!
Upcoming Meetings:
- April 10
- May 8
