Our Week at Reutter School

Dear Reutter School Families/Guardians,

Please take note of an important update regarding our school calendar. The school district will now be open on Friday, February 13. Students will report to school following an early dismissal schedule.

For our fifth-grade families, your children have recieved information and permission slips this week for the upcoming fifth-grade field trip. Please review these documents carefully. All permission slips and chaperone interest forms must be submitted to your child’s homeroom teacher no later than Friday, March 13.

We have an exciting week ahead of us starting February 17. Our school will be celebrating the Week of Kindness, and we have a special spirit week planned to encourage a positive and supportive environment for all our students. We look forward to seeing everyone participate and spread kindness throughout the building. (More information about the spirit week has been posted below.)

Finally, our Student Council is thrilled to invite you to a family fun night of Candybar BINGO! The event will take place on Wednesday, February 25, at 7:00 PM here at Reutter School. While there is no cash admission fee, we ask that every individual attending bring one full-size candy bar to be used for the games. It promises to be a sweet night of community fun, and we hope to see many of our families there!

Due to a calendar change, Township of Franklin School District will be open and students will report for an early dismissal school day on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Caroline L. Reutter School is proud to recognize the January RAM STRONG Students of the Month. These outstanding students were nominated by faculty and staff for consistently demonstrating exceptional character and embodying our school’s core values, particularly the character trait of Trust, which was the focus this month. Their positive example helps set the tone for success across the school, and we commend them for being outstanding role models within our school community.

Mrs. Scaffo’s sixth-grade ELA students were hard at work this week, sharpening their reading comprehension skills. By practicing strategies such as summarizing, predicting, and identifying the author’s purpose, these sixth graders are building the essential foundations for advanced literacy and critical thinking.
