This year, Eagle pride soared to new heights!

Homecoming 2025 was a remarkable display of school spirit, tradition, and one simple truth: It’s great to be an Eagle!

Their vision took flight and lifted the whole week sky-high for students, staff, families, friends, and the community.

The enthusiasm and spirit of our SGA was matched step for step by our amazing staff and students. Thank you one and all for participating!

A special shout out to Mr. Allen Anderson and his fantastic custodial crew for making sure that our building was ready to go for each event.

This year’s spirit week was spectacular, with a week of fun, creativity, and friendly competition:

• Monday – Multiplicity Monday

• Wednesday – Movie/TV/Character Day

• Thursday – Decades Day (9th – 2000's; 10th – 90's; 11th – 80's; 12 – 70's)

• Friday – Color Day (9th – Black; 10th – Blue; 11th – White; 12– Red)

The Pep Rally on Friday was awesome, beginning with the volleyball game and sports runs in the gym, and moving outside to the stadium for the flag football game and the dance performances at the Pep Rally.

Hosted by our amazing PTSA under the direction of Ms. Tracy Lynge and Mr. Scott Simpkins, with a small army of marvelous volunteers, the pancake breakfast brought smiles (and stacks!) to the CHS family.

Many thanks to everyone who donated, served, and grilled – you kept the griddles hot and the spirits high!

A special shout out to the Friends of Music and the CHS Boosters for fueling the fun with spiritwear and support.

What a parade! We had more floats than ever, and so many groups marching. A special Eagle thanks to Girl Scout Troop 4080 for marching with us in the parade. It was rewarding to see so many families lining the parade route and cheering on our students and the spectacular Marching Eagles!

And of course, a special thanks to our Athletics and Activities Manager, Mrs. Rebecca Clark; our Security Assistant, Mr. Mike Guizziotti, and the Howard County Police Department and our own Officer Marc Carneal, for securing the parade route.

Fans flocked to the stands for a great afternoon watching the contest between our varsity football team and Poolesville HIgh School.

Best fans ever!

And what about our cheerleaders, color guard, and marching band! The spectacular halftime show by the Marching Eagles kept spirits soaring, and featured music from the Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens!

Hollywood Lights Homecoming - A Red Carpet Moment!

We hope you had a blast with your friends, took lots of pictures, and made memories for a lifetime!

We are grateful for our dance chaperones, Mr. Ryan Silverman, who kept the building open late, and Ms. Reinhardt, Mr. Sillers, and Mr. White, who were there for us every step of the way throughout the week.

Thank you EVERYONE! I am so proud to be your principal!
