Cubs Weekly Update #7
October 1, 2026
A Peek into your Cub's Week...
This week's Bible story was about the birth of Isaac and introduced the letter Ii. We also reviewed Aa because a lot of the story was about his father, Abraham. Our new number was 4. We worked on identifying 4 with subsitizing cards. We reviewed our shapes, colors, and counting forwards to 5 and backwards from 5 to 0. Creating AB patterns during gathering is a popular activity. This week we could use apples, strawberries, or cupcakes to make our pattern. Singing songs witih our scarves, listening to stories, show and tell, Feeling Cub, making our snacks, and LOTS of PLAY was also part of our week.
Movement with Music...
Using scarves in music class helps promote creativity. It provides another way to engage children in learning through movement.

One more thing before you go...
We want to thank you for allowing us to be the foundation for your child's school experience. We do not take our job lightly. We enjoy the challenge of making learning fun. We understand that children learn through play and we try hard to create special opportunities in play to learn.
Both of us feel blessed that we get to share God's love and His faithfulness with your child.
