We hope you had a great week! Parent conferences have officially wrapped up, and it’s hard to believe we’re nearing the end of October and looking ahead to November. With several days off throughout November, be sure to check the calendar for important dates.
The Jr. YAC finished their food drive today, and all collected items will now be donated to support those in need. Thank you to everyone who contributed!
The PTO-sponsored Trunk or Treat tonight is the perfect opportunity for families to celebrate together! We look forward to a fantastic evening filled with treats, fun, and Halloween spirit. See you there!
Also, a reminder: forms for the Cookie Dough Fundraiser are due on Monday, October 28! If you haven’t ordered yet, there’s still time—proceeds will help create a memorable school year for all. Plus, these cookies make a delicious addition to holiday desserts!
Next week, we kick off Red Ribbon Week, a campaign focused on drug prevention. Please check the flier section for daily themes and activities.
Halloween is also next Thursday. Students are welcome to dress up, but please ensure their costumes are appropriate. Clothing should reach at least fingertip length and cover the body as a school uniform would. No masks are allowed to be worn in school and fake/toy weapons or anything resembling a weapon are not permitted in school. We encourage you to remind your children about safety if they go out trick-or-treating.
An Important Note:
At Bogota Middle School, we are deeply committed to maintaining open communication with all our parents. Please feel free to reach out anytime you have a question or concern. Addressing small issues early helps prevent them from growing, and we want everyone to feel heard and supported. Thank you for being such an essential part of our school community!
