Please join us in treating the wonderful ND staff to a "Make Your Own Taco Bowl" dinner during parent teacher interviews on Monday, November 9th. Click on the link below if you are able to provide an item for this meal. Please have items delivered to the school office prior to 2:30 PM on November 9th.

As we prepare for the upcoming Remembrance Day Ceremony, we invite students and staff who have relatives who have served or still serve in the military, RCMP, etc., to write down the names of these relatives. Please note that it does not only have to be the Canadian military, it can be from any country. These names will be shared during the ceremony. If you have multiple, please fill out the form for each member.

There will be a meeting for all Cadets on November 3rd and November 9th at Lunch in Room 1202.

Parents/guardians have 48 hours to retroactively correct attendance. Students can not phone themselves in to excuse absences. This must be done by parents/guardians.

Students are marked Unexcused Absent (U) if they arrive 30 minutes or more into a class period. If they arrive within 30 minutes of the bell, students will be marked Tardy (T). Teachers do make note of the time the student arrives to the class. It is the responsibility of the student to connect with their teacher if they are late to class in order to have their attendance adjusted. It is only the teacher who can confirm whether the student was in attendance. If you believe that your student was incorrectly marked as absent unexcused, please have them speak to their teacher.

Ready to join the ND Cougars this season? Girls' basketball tryouts are right around the corner! The "Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement of Athlete Eligibility" and "2026/2027 Athletic Informed Consent form must be completed by a parent/guardian prior to tryouts.

• Sign in to PowerSchool on a computer or the browser of your phone (Forms are not supported by the PowerSchool app)
• Click on "School Fees and Forms"
• Select your student's name to see their available forms
• Select "Athletics" from the bottom menu
• Complete and submit both forms (these forms must only be completed once per school year).

If you still have textbooks, novels or any other library material from last school year, please bring them back to the Learning Commons ASAP!

Fines for outstanding books and materials have already been added to your Rycor accounts an you won't be able to check out anything new until those old items are returned or your fines are cleared.

Drop your books off with Mrs. Kranenborg so you can get back to checking out what you need. Thanks for helping us out!

Join us for a fun new activity in the Learning Commons! Make our Commons an inviting and cozy space! Bring your own plant clippings to add to our growing collection, tend to them at the Learning Commons and bring them home once they are grown.

Poinsettias for a Purpose is back!

Make your season merry, your home festive and your support meaningful. Support the grad class of 2027 and order a poinsettia (or two) today!

Each Grade 12 student must pay a mandatory $50 fundraising fee to go towards graduation. Grads that sell 8 plants during this fundraiser will have their fundraising fee waived. Support your student by ordering!

• Sales open on Monday Nov 2.
• Purchase deadline Monday, November 16.
• Once sales are complete, vouchers will be given to your grads on Wednesday, November 18 and they will deliver them to their customers.
• Vouchers can be redeemed at Parkland Nurseries and Garden Centre in exchange for a plant of your choice after November 20th for the Regular Poinsettias and November 27th for the Large Poinsettias. All vouchers not redeemed by December 21st will be void. Go early for the best selection!

Steel Pony Farm Real Food Fundraiser is December 11-14

Families who choose to participate will receive a link to share. Shop with the link online at the Steel Pony Store between December 11-14 and have your order packed for pick up on December 16. Families that order more than $330 have their fundraising fee waived.

Make a difference with Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign! Volunteer for 2 hour shifts Monday-Saturday. Contact Bob Riley from the Salvation Army to sign up.

Students travelling to Italy & Greece in Spring 2027 are invited, along with a parent/guardian, for an information evening in the amphitheater on Tuesday Nov.17th at 6:30pm. Please let Ms. Tessari know if you cannot attend.
