Week of April 12th Reminders

• The School Improvement Team meets virtually on April 13th, from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
• There will be a virtual "Rising Junior and Rising Senior Parent/Family Night" on April 14th, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you would like to join this meeting, please use this link to sign up.
• Jordan operates on the One-Hour Activity Period Bell Schedule on April 22nd.
• Graduation rehearsal at Duke Cameron Indoor Stadium is June 10th, at 4:30 p.m.
• Graduation is June 12th, at 5:00 p.m., at Duke Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Volunteer to be an AP proctor! AP proctors can be any responsible adult community member age 18 or over who are approved DPS volunteers. Please see the linked flyer with more information or reach out to Assistant Principal Ruby!

Registration is now open for a very special event planned by the Charles E. Jordan PTSA in collaboration with National PTA with support from TikTok!

The event has limited spots, so register TODAY to reserve your space!

* What = FREE event to learn about and discuss social media and digital safety.

* Who = Youth 13 years and older as well as parents/guardians raising youth in this digital age. Come together to start or continue this important discussion or come alone to learn tools and ideas for how to start it! There is an alternate activity available on site for school-aged youth under 13 years of age. Toddlers and infants may remain with their parents/guardians during the event.

* Extra!!! Dinner is served at the event! Fun door prizes and contests geared toward youth and adults! Must be present to win.

• Everyone attending will be eligible for door prizes.
• Each middle school that has 10 or more families register and attend will be entered into a raffle for a $250 Visa Gift Card for their school’s PTA
• Each high school that has 10 or more families register and attend will be entered into a raffle for a $250 Visa Gift Card for their school’s PTSA
• Each Jordan Athletics team that has 10 or more athletes register and attend will be entered into a raffle for a $250 Visa Gift Card for their school’s PTSA
• Each Jordan Club that has 10 or more Club members register and attend will be entered into a raffle for a $250 Visa Gift Card for their Club
• Each Jordan faculty or staff member that encourages10 or more students register and attend will be entered into a raffle for a $250 Visa Gift Card

Student Ambassadors have exciting opportunities to represent our school through events such as summer school support, school tours, Freshman Orientation, and Meet the Teacher Night.

Email three teachers or staff members and politely ask them to complete a Teacher/Staff Endorsement Form on your behalf.
